Physical Therapy
The Physical Therapy service is dedicated to pre-surgery preparation and post-surgical rehabilitation, disease prevention, the development and delivery of preventive and therapeutic exercise, chronic disease self-management program formulation, and (in conjunction with Orthotics and Prosthetics) the prescription and training of orthotics and prosthetics.
Service provision includes robust assessments of movement, strength, endurance, and other physical abilities and a thorough evaluation of the condition, environmental factors, and lifestyle.
Treatment includes an individualized program based on scientific knowledge to restore movement and reduce pain.
